Domestic Team Leader
Tregwilym Lodge is a Nursing Home based in Newport committed to caring and supporting residents with Dementia and providing them with a safe clean environment to live in. To help us achieve this we are looking to recruit an individual who is able to lead our existing Domestic Team and ensure that targets are met and maintained continually.
To be a successful applicant you will be required to have a least 2 years’ experience in a Housekeeping Team Leader/Supervisor role within a similar setting to Tregwilym Lodge or in the hospitality industry and hold a qualification to support this.

Duties will include
Creating and monitoring staff rotas
Allocating staff to specific areas and maintaining cleaning schedules
Routinely inspecting rooms and communal areas for cleanliness
Regular appraisals and supervisions of staff
Recognising training requirements in addition to mandatory training provided for both yourself and domestic staff
Ordering of cleaning supplies ensuring stocks are maintained but recognising budget limitations
Ensuring that equipment used is always in good working order and reporting faults immediately
We are offering a competitive salary, with an enhanced rate for overtime, for a 36 hour permanent contract. It is intended that the hours will be split between working out on the floors and administration. You will also be required to work alternate weekends. Free uniform will be provided and subsidised meals are offered
